Who is behind the IMS

The Cochrane Information Management System is the result of the work of different groups of people. In this section you may find information on who is behind the IMS and how they interacte in order to make the IMS as it is.

The picture on the side shows how the the ISOC is accountable to the Cochrane Collaboration Steering Group (CCSG) via its advisory committe, the Information Services Strategy Committee (ISSC). The ISOC has two advisory IMS related committees: ADAC and RAC.

• Information Services Operations Committee - The ISOC is accountable to the ISSC, and takes responsibility for ensuring that the strategic approaches determined by the ISSC are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Archie Development Advisory Committee - The ADAC advises on the development of Archie
• RevMan Advisory Committee - The RAC advises on development of Review Manager
• The IMS Team - The Cochrane IMS Team consists of two working parties: IMS Development and IMS Support.
